One setting, many pictures
Choose the model, what goes behind, the file type and — for catalogues — the square product frame, then add the pictures. They are cut out one at a time with the same settings, each finished file kept as a compressed image, and the whole set saved as a single ZIP. File names follow the originals, so IMG_2041.jpg comes back as IMG_2041-no-background.png.
The model is loaded once and used for every picture, which is why the second picture is much faster than the first.
Limits
- No brush in the queue. A picture that needs hand correction should go through the single-picture page.
- The tab has to stay open. Browsers slow down background tabs; leave this one visible while a long queue runs.
Questions people ask
- How many pictures can I put through?
- The page sets no limit. The practical limit is time and your device's memory: the queue keeps only the finished, compressed files, so a few hundred is fine on a laptop. On a phone, keep batches under about fifty.
- How long does it take?
- With the portrait model on a laptop graphics card, well under a second per picture. The object model takes one to three seconds on a graphics card and longer on a processor. The first picture also waits for the one-off model download.
- Can I fix one picture in the batch by hand?
- Open that picture on the remove-background page, where the brushes are, and save it from there. The queue applies the same settings to every picture on purpose.
- Is there a credit limit?
- No. Nothing runs on a server, so there is nothing to count.
